About us

Bylaws

ASB is an association according to the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB) and part of the Academic Association of Scientific Staff at ETH (AVETH) as a department association (DA). It’s goals, bodies and rules of procedure are set out in the bylaws:

General Assembly

The General Assembly (GA) is held at least once a year, usually in November. It is the highest body of the association and decides on both financial matters and elections of the board and representatives in departmental bodies and commissions.

The last General Assembly was held on the 19th of November 2024. The next assembly is planned for November 2025.

The board meetings usually take place once every month and they are open to all ASB members.

Representatives

The ASB sends representatives to the department conference (DK), the teaching commission (UK), and the gender and diversity commission (GDK) of D-BAUG. Our representatives are elected at the general assembly each year. If you have questions and ideas to hesitate to contact us.
